I link that was the point of the post... when will the Hornets have their own Durant, Koba, Lebron, etc. This isn't a knock against Big Al whose been amazing, but I think he's asking when we will get our marquee player that can drop 40 points and be unstoppable.

I kept holding out hope that Kemba would be that guy. I've given up. He's good, but has never elevated his game to that level. I gave up MKG a long time ago too. I also don't see Lance reviving his career and taking his game to another level in Charlotte. He's still very much needed and out of all the free agents left, shows the most promise.

The Hornets use to have some luck with this. If I remember correctly, both Eddie Jones and Glen Rice improved dramatically from their previous teams.

Lol. You have given up on Kemba after 3 solid seasons. He won't be a star, but he could still become a very good PG. And how could you of given up on MKG "a long time ago" when he's only played two years and is one if the youngest players from his draft class. He's a jump shot away from being a good starter, and a jump shot+ more confidence from being a star.

And what do you mean by Lance "reviving" his career when it hasn't gone anywhere yet? You act like he's a has been. His career is just getting started and he has superstar potential.

I never said I gave up on him, but I don't see him being the second coming of Durant or Kobe if you ask me. haha In the beginning, I was holding out hope. He's still solid. If we build a good core, he will be extremely valuable but I don't see him taking over games and hitting 40 points or 60+ (or whatever crazy number) Lebron scored on us.

Also "reviving" might been the wrong choice of words... but I guess elevating his game to another level. I do believe he has superstar potential, with the right core around him. I hope I'm wrong.

Big AL would be a multiple All Star if he played for a big market. I honestly feel like if he were healthy we could have beat the heat in our series. At one point He put up I think 17 points in about 3 minutes on one leg. If he stays healthy this year we need to sign him to an extension

Lance has the potential to be this guy.  He's very young and we are in a rare situation to get someone of that talent at only 23 years old.
