Good. Yet another contract that will fug them over in the future.

I'm looking forward already to watching TD and Kuechly lay his punk ass out. They couldn't beat us last year with him, what's going to make this year any different?

This is silly even for you. Yes Alejandro, signing a 4 year contract obviously means there is no rift now.

Is there a source for this offer that was supposedly "on the table" all this time?

Here is just one of numerous official sources for the "on the table" offer. On the other hand, "the rift" you have mentioned in numerous posts has no official source of ever being true.

Couldn't beat Panthers? I seem to remember a beatdown in the dome, and just second short of a sweep, Hi, I'm reality. Have we met?

Pretty damn sizable difference between $30 million, and $40 million.

So you're denying any rift at all, even though he was publicly expressing his displeasure on twitter? Take off the homer glasses.

A single tweet back in May is definitive proof of a rift? The tweet wasn't even about himself! I guess the Panther players that questioned the release of Smith must have a major rift with team too!

I think it's telling, though, that Graham's tweet came out shortly after the latest news of Darren Sproles' pending release. That one surprised me more than all of the others, too. The Saints also released receiver Lance Moore earlier on Friday.

A second short? I think you're the one who needs to introduce yourself to reality.

That was meant to be plural "seconds". Hixon TD was with 28seconds left, so to be precise, it was 28 seconds away from a sweep. If you look at tie breakers, Saints would have won head to head tiebreakers too if you want to just compare the two teams against each other in actual play against each other. Comparing the two games, the wins might be split, but the total points, total yards, total TDs, strength of victory all favor the Saints easily.

Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
Strength of victory.
Strength of schedule.
Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best net points in common games.
Best net points in all games.
Best net touchdowns in all games.

Just bc Panthers won some meaningless division title doesn't mean they were the better team. Saints had all the head to head tiebreakers if the records were the same, Saints won in postseason on the road while Panthers looked out of place playing at home with an extra weeks rest against a team coming off a west coast game and having to travel across the NA continent,

He might not even make it a 2 year deal. The Taints have over 150 million committed to the 2015 cap. As much as Big A-hole thinks they're loaded, he thought the same last year. How'd that work out for them?

There is no such thing as a "tie breaker" when there is no "tie" to break. Better record = better team.

A road playoff win and a few missed FGs away from beating the eventual SB winners, It was a great year! Bad would have been winning home playoff berth and losing badly....oh wait.

But yeah, cap hell is coming....again
