Ashley Fox - Hardy Situation Trumps Others

Best Answer Jeremy Igo, 21 July 2014 - 07:23 AM

To summarize, there are some placing all of the blame on her, and others placing none of the blame on her.

Of course, in reality, responsibility is split between the two. They both need help.

OJ did it, Casey Anthony did it, and George Zimmerman did if but they're not in jail

That's because George Zimmerman was only guilty of being an uptight dumbass, who pissed off the wrong person and got his ass beat. Sadly, he did nothing illegal tho, and had he not killed Trayvon then Trayvon would have probably faced assault charges.

She wasn't hallucinating....she is obviously a woman that dates high profile characters with cash to burn. She buys her way through life with her looks and wants the most she can possibly get...period. Appears to be someone who is use to getting her way and when she doesn't....throws tantrums.Hardy F,,d up by even giving her a second look.Hope he learned to leave woman like this tending tables and out of his life.Add in a coke habit and this is what you get.Any body (male or female) who would write that article and represent that woman as a "victim" and a innocent abused person...must be hallucinating herself.

Thread answer =^

. . and anyone who says things like 'they should do away with this side of the law system' who didnt study law is clearly a first class idiot.

Ashley Fox is beyond stupid for words.

Yes. The Judge found that he was upset and yelled at a woman in a heated and threatening manner while communicating threats.

The Judge also called the testimony of a person on cocaine and drunk the night of the incident, who had made known she was going to show Hardy "crazy", credible testimony.

There was no finding of battery or physical abuse.

Meanwhile there is plenty of evidence of Holder committing assault and battery on a man and forcing her way into Hardy's apartment while drunk and high on cocaine. After being asked to leave several times she continues to come at Hardy and draws blood. She continuously provokes Hardy and insists that he cause her bodily injury and break her arm - which he refuses to do. There is testimony in the trial of her premeditating an assault on Hardy by making it known to people around her that Hardy has not seen crazy yet.

Prior to all of this she would not remove her items from Hardy's apartment when requested. Hardy had her items removed and placed back in her apartment while she was away. Hardy also stopped paying her rent for her apartment. She made it well known she was going to get her piece and make him pay.

If he had been found to have "beat" her, as the ESPN reporter said in her biased and shoddy reporting, the judgement would not be a misdemeanor with probation.

Hardy should have pressed charges the night he called 911 and had her put in jail for her actions. He just had her escorted away from his home. He left it up to the magistrate and the state, and they will always go after the man in a domestic dispute even if there is more evidence against the woman.

Thank you for making the facts more clear. Some media outlets out there have been painting this like 'she was bruised from head to toe'

Can we please disagree and provide context around the facts of the case without being sexist knuckle dragging neanderthals?

Personally, I find it unfortunate that Ashley Fox is using this case as an example of the domestic violence problems in this country (of which there are many) because once you dig into the facts of the case, it undermines a lot of her argument.

While victims need not be saints to be taken seriously or be afforded justice, there are enough red flags in the case to question the credibility of the accuser. Domestic violence should never be accepted but neither should potentially unfounded accusations be allowed to destroy the reputation of individuals.

This is another prime example of a person who thinks they're smarter than they are. Unfortunately, she has a big microphone that broadcasts to a lot of stupid people. I cant imagine the sheer size of this problem in the world. It would have to be one of the biggest. . . but rationalizing immature conflicts into being beatings is incredibly negligent of a society. Trying to ruin a man by overstating the scenario is a WILDLY malicious thing to do. When people with unjust agendas walk around stupid AND with big microphones, I worry.

Americans want to "take away the guns", when we need to be taking care of the crazy people first. Stupid people that think they know better and the crazy people they let walk around unchecked are destroying all of the liberties and freedom that make this country great.

Due process? He was convicted of assaulting a woman. Your defense of him shows your character.

I don't think his commentary was defending Hardy at all, just pointing out her bias in disregarding the questionable testimony and facts about Holder.

Everybody gets so worked up - I think they both had a part in the crazy events of the night. Not one sided- like many of the opinions out there.

She apparently just wants to skip the whole Due Process part of the constitution and go strait for the juggular b/c domestic violence.

So in your opinion, its not "due process" unless the outcome is what you prefer it to be?

Because I could have sworn that Hardy was just pronounced guilty of the crimes of which he was charged.

Uh yea due process says you can appeal and have a trial by jury....

Maybe you didn't know this, but an appeal doesn't set aside the previous verdict.

Who knew we had such model citizens here before this Hardy case.

I've heard this argument so many times, and it continues to piss me off each time. Sorry, but I've never been accused of allegedly assaulting a woman (crazy or otherwise). Nor have I ever been accused of doing anything close to the severity of what Hardy has. Maybe I've lived a boring life or something? Doesn't seem like it would be all that hard to NOT get wrapped up in all of this tbh....

Alcohol+Cocaine doesn't cause hallucination? Forget the cocaine, have you ever heard of drunk goggles? Alchohol and drugs alter perception and thinking. If you don't like the word hallucination, then apply a different one.

Don't forget the coke because when u mix that with alcohol, it tends to reduce the affects of drinking. What would be more likely to happen is that they cause her to be more aggressive.
