Charlotte Hornets Memorabilia

22 posts in this topic

Well the offseason is about to get real slow, so here's a thread to occupy sometime.

I'm interested in hearing about (or seeing) all the memorabilia that you guys have collected or saved (both new and old).

If it has a Hornets logo on it, I want to hear about it. Basketball cards, clothing, autographs, little nick-nack's, etc...

Whatever you got, share it here.

Luckily when the NBA offseason gets slow training camp and the preseason for the NFL starts to ramp up. Good idea for a topic, I'll see what I can dig up.

I don't have much as I was a young kid (2nd grade) when the Hornets were in Charlotte (during the days of Wesley, Davis, Mashburn, Magloire, Campbell, and Brown).

I do have some things though...

- A stuffed Charlotte Hornets basketball

- A stuffed Hugo doll type thing

- A Charlotte Hornets blanket

- A big Charlotte Hornets toolbox/trunk type thing

- Two Charlotte Hornet hats

- 9 Charlotte Hornet basketball cards (one signed by Kenny Gattison)

- A new Charlotte Hornets shirt with the new logo

What's funny is that I actually have more Bobcats stuff than Hornets stuff because when the Bobcats came to Charlotte I was at that age where everyone thinks they are going to go pro in sports haha.

    • This makes sense to a degree with one big BUT... It's clear we'll be changing up our offense quite a bit this season - both due to the need for "evolution" and because of all the new players on offense we have to integrate - especially CMC & Samuel.  So, Stew needs more reps than he would have needed last year just to get in a rhythm with the new guys... Otherwise what you write makes sense.
    • Already admitted i was wrong saying that, what I meant to write was he never learned to do it in college and makes it much easier to fall back into old habits in the pros. Was going back and edit that before I posted the thread and just forgot. And yes, every QB is going to be inaccurate at times, Cam is more inaccurate than the other top ten QBs, He just is, that's not his game,  didn't see anyone complaining about in 15. He makes up for it in other ways. And, no offense meant, didn't see a whole lot of Cam blaming in your post, actually, didn't see any. It was all someone else's fault. Cam has more difficult throws than many QBs because he frequently passes up easy throws for more difficult ones.
