Just like the Bobcats will not become the Hornets and that the Hornets are not interested in Lance Stephenson?

Michael Jordan has no interest in becoming the majority owner.

He always seemed weirdly bitter about the possibility of a name change, and I could never figure out why.  Even other guys at the Observer like Sorensen would write these stories about what a good idea the change was, and how much the name meant to the community.  But Bonnell always just blew it off and acted like the whole thing didn't matter.  I never understood it.  (I'll add this was before the name change was made official...back when it was all speculation after New Orleans announced their change.)

I hope he's wrong.  I think Marion would be a nice addition off the bench and bring vet leadership.  He's still a really solid player.

Was there a player that he said we DID have interest in prior to 24 hours before we signed them? NO.

I don't think we're looking into Marion either, but I'm not verifying that with Richard.
