The Baltimore Ravens held their first full team practice under cloudy skies at the Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills early on Thursday morning.

With the music rocking and rolling, the players, donned in their shorts and helmets spent a portion of the morning going through their normal drills with position coaches before conducting their 11 on 11 drills.

The uptempo of the Ravens offense was on display as Joe Flacco and company continue to install new components.

Steve Smith Keeps Impressing

Veteran wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. continued to show why the Ravens went after the vaunted free agent during the offseason. Going against Lardarius Webb during one of the team drills, Smith Sr. torched past Webb for a 70-yard touchdown on a perfectly executed throw by Taylor.

While no words were exchanged this time between Smith Sr. and Webb, Smith Sr. did spin the ball after scoring.

Just digging around to see how Smitty's doing up there in Baltimore. Not as heartbroken over losing him as I was initially but, I'm definitely gonna miss the guy. My favorite Panther of all time.

Let's hope he doesn't do this a lot in regular season or we will be looking dumb.

good to hear...  sadly, odds are he will be doing it quite a bit in the regular season because they have other weapons around him in the passing game, AND their offensive philosophy isn't grounded in the 1940s like ours has been.

Love me some Smitty.

Kick ass 89.

Except one particular Sunday this year.

Never forget you're a Panther Smitty.

Someday we'll retire your number.

Smith basically stated he is going to work harder in Baltimore than he would have in Carolina.

Not gonna get all butt hurt if he has a good year.  I'm hoping for it.

Here's Smitty catching an underthrown Flacco pass and his ball spin. He still got it.
