I haven't kept up with the team in the off-season at all.

The schedule is laughably easy, FSU comes to Carter-Finley where they struggle, and Brissett is supposedly the real deal at QB (I hope anyway). As long as State gets decent to good QB play, they'll make a bowl.

But hey, one conference win and it's improvement!

My son starts at State in two weeks, so I suppose I'll be watching some of these...

Not sure what NC State's defense looks like, but watch out for ODU's offense.

They got worked over hard by UNC last year, but they lit up ECU's defense.

Most scouts have their QB rated as top 20 QB in college. He can really fill up a stat sheet.

ODU's defense is awful though, so if NCSU's offense is even mediocre, they should be able to score at will.

Wouldn't consider a 42-28 game "lighting up" the ECU defense. 21 of 28 points in 4th quarter during mop up duty. Btw new to the thread, long time reader. Glad to be a part of it

They had issues getting it into the endzone, but Taylor Heineke wasn't having issues driving the field. They just couldn't convert those yards into points.

Awesome. I'm biased, but to me it's the best mix of school/social/atmosphere you'll find in the state. If he ever needs some advice or classes to take (easy A's) let me know

Thanks... The times I've been up there I've been impressed. I went to uncw so needless to say it's quite different.

too busy keeping up with UNC?

NCSU is in trouble.

I saw that they just let the thug RB back onto the team. If that loser played for UNC you morons would be trying to check his licenes plate..

BUT BUT BUT HE DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE AND IF DAVE DORKOERN IS OKAY WITH IT SO AM I.

Yeah - there's girls you want to have sex with at UNCW. A lot of them. When I was in college (2003-2008) the hottest girls in the state were at Wilmington and it wasn't even close. UNC was #2. I'd be willing to bet it prob hasn't changed much.

Brisset is gonna be a beast. State might surprise some people but they might also go down in flames.

State seems to do better in years with low expectations.

You should never try to watch NCSUX football.  Any year.  Simple answer.
