That's because that version is largely believed to be false. A woman was shot in the head in Ferguson but she was black. How it happened has conflicting reports. I don't know where he got Black Panthers from.

I was reading multiple websites, I think it was routers or something. I tried to understand what really happened but everyone gives different story.

Yeah, it's tough with all of the technology out there. Lots of misinformation to go along with the actual information. Pretty hard to follow when everyones a journalist and has a cell phone and twitter page. Im trying to narrow my intel down to the people who are actually there in Ferguson. I feel you though all I want is the facts. Latest I hear is a bunch of said journalists getting arrested. I may have to lay off the info overload for a bit cuz I'm on my iphone and its all making my head explode.

Sadly, this kids death will be used for fear mongering on both sides of the argument.

I truly think justice is wanted by both sides.  But, there are always several versions out there of an argument/incident, unless you get it on tape or something.

That is why I mentioned the dash cams right up front.

i don't care about "brotherhood" at all when it comes to cops or the military.  If one screws up, he should not be covered by others just because he wears the shield.  Same with the military.  If a guy goes off and shoots a bunch of civilians...just because...., then he should be punished.

Empathy is key here.  I would not want a cop of any color to be free to shoot me or anyone i know without real cause.  Disrespect is not a cause for shooting someone.

Again, I have not made a judgement on this because I don't know that many facts, but at this point, it looks like a kid(s) mouthed off to a cop and ended up getting shot.  If that is the case, the the cop needs to go down.

At the same time, looters are being opportunistic in all the wrong ways.  No excuse for this and most of them probably have no idea who the kid was.  As has been said, many drove in from out of town, just to get in on the "action".

Not just dash, but body cams too. The more I read about them, the more I think they should be standard. They protect the cops from false claims of brutality. They protect the citizens from brutality. They cause almost everone to be less agressive because they know they are being filmed. I cannot think of a single downside.

Not even CLOSE to a valid comparison.

People are looting because they want some free poo....no other reason.  If it was about the actual situation, then there would be protests...but not looting.

looks like your friends at stormfront agree

It is all about instant gratification for them, no concept of the future. They don't actually care that that kid got shot. It gives them an excuse to act the way they want to.

It's so stupid. If a random white guy was killed by the police we would protest and take it to the media, etc., we wouldn't go looting random stores for stupid crap. It means to me that they just wanted an excuse to go loot anyway.

Same old story with blacks everywhere: any excuse to start looting and stealing - we see it here all the time.

If this doesn't scare the poo out of everyone I don't know what will.

Should the folks go home at night? Probably.

Should the police be equipped like a small army?
Not even close.
