Fisher #1 pick, UDFA Bell playing better

The line protected well.  My main concern remains why are we running up the gut on 1st and 2nd and then throwing on 3rd?  Did John Fox ghost write our playbook?

I assume it's preseason play calling. Who knows, though.

It was supposed to be a "dress rehearsal" I hope that was not a legit preview of this offensive philosophy.

Regardless of how Bell works out long term, I'm convinced that between him and Chandler there was more talent (and obviously more experience) on the team than in the draft at OT. So glad DG didn't fall for the knee jerk reaction of 'gotta draft a LT'.

He must have changed because early in his career he ruffled the feathers of veterans for going to hard in practice.
