How have Amini looked so far?

And, I'm not sure many are wanting an OG. We want a LT and wondering why Gman can't make a similar move.

Money.  They have cap space this year and next.  We don't.

Not feeling this opener. I didn't drink the mccown kool aid but if they can just hammer the ball up the middle and then work play action off that we're done.

You're more worried about the defense than the offense?

(that's kinda unusual these days)

I'm worried about our run D.

I don't even want to think about that.

Did I step into another dimension where Star, Short and Luke weren't drafted by The Panthers?

Everyone keeps saying "just a 4th rounder" and are ignoring TE Tim Wright being in the deal. This could say something about the health of Gronk or just the fact that they want to go back to a solid 2 TE set. I can see him being a big part of their offense this year.

Wright is a big, athletic TE who fits the Patriots perfectly and scoring 5 TD's and almost 600 yds in his rookie season is nothing to ignore. Plus it frees up $5.8m in cap space for them.

Rotoworld:

"Wright is a natural fit to potentially fill the old Aaron Hernandez role. He's an athletic catch-first TE that was a former college wideout at Rutgers before posting an impressive 54-571-5 line as a rookie with Mike Glennon as his QB

...

Coach Lovie Smith said the Bucs have "big plans" for TE Tim Wright in the passing game. That's despite the Bucs' additions of 28 yr old TE Brandon Myers (signed to a $4.25 million contract) and Austin Seferian-Jenkins (early 2nd R pick) ... Lovie Smith envisions Wright winning matchups against linebackers and safeties, which is certainly something he can do as an oversized slot threat.

...

coach Greg Schiano showered praise on his rookie tight end last season: "Timmy Wright is quickly becoming a really tough tight end to cover in this league," coach Greg Schiano said."

Solid move bucs, but after one snap Star will convince him to retire

Valid. That's part of the deal too.

Lovie Smith was recently quoted as saying that Wright "hasn't played as well as he should be playing" so I guess they're not that worried about parting with him.

I think they also really like ASJ
