We got away with our front 7 last year. Will it be as good this year? We'll find out.  Either way, Stafford and Calvin are gonna put our secondary to the test.

Totally agree. That game is very intriguing to me and will be a huge indicator how we are going to be.

Unless they cut him, Leonhard is with the Browns.

I did not realize that.  Good for him.  The guy is the leagues modern day Rudy.

A walk on to Wisconsin, he started many games as a Sophomore and Junior and earned all Big10 honors until finally being given a scholarship his senior year.  The NFL did not draft him, either.  He has earned everything he has.

Only 6th in passing def. we could improve in that area and if we did we could be #1. Which would greatly help our Super Bowl chances. Staying stagnant just because we did enough last year isn't a good way to get better.

Almost An entire new secondary is stagnant?

To me it depends on whether you are being stagnant by choice, or being forced to. We fit the latter. Now when the contracts start going away and we remain stagnant. Then we can worry, bitch, and fret.

I wonder what it is the coaches see that keeps jones from getting first team reps? He's fast, tackles well, physical...that's why he's a good STs player and didn't he have a INT last year when forced into the lineup

My hope is our starters stay healthy long enough for Tre Boston to get in the swing of things. I'd feel better about Boston playing week 6 than week 1.

Chris Clemons or Major Wright would look good on this roster in place of Godfrey. Someone who can play our scheme would look better at CB than Norman.
