it seems slow paced and grindy

looks really slick though

It does slowly turn into that. It gets annoying towards the end when you're into your class story but it slows down so much that you're questing for 2 hours before you get to the next part and that next part is a little bit of dialog and a fight with an elite. I just hit 50 and finished up my class quest last night and was getting very impatient. I skipped everything but my class quest and parts of it were like pulling teeth(having to kill literally 100 mobs to get to my objective), not to mention travel time on a gigantic planet.

The end of my class story was kind of disappointing as well. I did the thing that I knew I was going to end up doing since level 1 and it just....stopped. IDK was a was supposed to expect but it seemed a little underwhelming for such a cool story.

Inquisitor one was awesome, the cutscenes and storytelling are pretty incredible. I was doing the quests when it was orange to me in the log and I was killing stuff 3 lvls above me bc i wanted to see more of the story. I know a buddy of mine was the same way with his Sith Warrior quest. Both of us were very happy with the whole story, beginning to end.

I'm not looking at it like a traditional MMO yet, I see it as a RPG that I can play with friends. I wonder how many people are going to complain about Diablo 3 because it is not a MMO once they start playing.

there's plenty of good reasons to complain about diablo 3, none of them are that its not an mmo

I'm still having fun.

Last night was a blast. I started off doing a solo mission on Tatooine with my pub toon. I saw a group of 3 imps ahead of me in the dungeon. One of them started heading toward me, then the other two quickly followed. I thought, "Oh poo, I'm toast". The first guy started attacking me, and I was fighting him. The other two imp's catch up and start in on me, I blow all my cd's. Then out of nowhere two more pub's come up and start helping me out. We killed them.

So I group up with the other two pubs that just came in (we're doing the same quest). The imp's come back 5 minutes later and jump us while we're fighting mobs. We kill them again. This went on for about another half hour...they wiped us once but we owned them the rest of the time. Then they go and get a level 50 (we were all around the same level so it was a fair fight).

LOL...fuging pussies.

I'm still enjoying 1-49 PvP but I don't have much hope for post 50 PvP in it's current form. Ilum is such a terrible system. All they had to do was take DAOCs frontiers and convert them to a Star Wars theme for a great open world end game PvP. Instead they turned PvP into just another grind with dailies and weekly quests minus the interesting story of PvE. The gear gap between new level 50s and the existing ones is way too big. Add the fact that it's based completely around luck getting Champion gear and it can take a very long time to get competitive gear. At this rate looks like I'll be leveling quite a few alts for PvP as it's far more enjoyable when everyone is bolstered to roughly the same effectiveness.

What's worse is getting extra champion gear you can't sell. I have like 10 implants and 3 gloves.
