Another thread made me think of this...

Who are the guys that you just flat out hate? And I'm not talking about hate to see on the field but ultimately respect their game. I'm talking the guys that you wouldn't cross the street to save their life.

Today's NFL is far too mercenary to harbor anything as strong as "hate" in my book, particularily for somebody I haven't met.

So no, I do not hate the entire Green Bay packers franchise.

I just pretty much can't stand all their buck toothed, mouth breathing, goat f*cking, cheese slamming, dickweed fans.

I hate very few people in life especially not sports people, but I make an exception for Michael Irvin. He tops my list of people in this world that I hate (right above Judge Judy).

Why the hate for Romanowski? I understand he wasn't the most well liked guy on the field but as a person he is not a terrible one. There is more to the man than him spitting on someone. There is a lot about him that I respect so I am just curious.

All I can think of is a bad incident with Isotoner gloves or something. I can't think of anything the guy ever did that you wouldn't walk across the street to save his life.

Don't know that I could offer "reasonable" explanations as to why I hate to any of them. I just do.

I cant explain why a spider that I could crush with my finger creeps me out either but it doesn't change the fact that it does.

The whole "Will Marino win the big one?" drivel got sickening every year after about oh say .... 1988. My favorite Chargers victory in the 20 years I've followed em was the 94 Divisional game when Miami looked like they were gonna run the Bolts out of the Murph, but gacked it in the 2nd half.
