Wow...the Carolina Panthers on the road.

- Last THROW win in San Diego
- Minnesota capitalizes on our mistakes to beat us fair and square
- Tampa takes advantage early and never looks back
- Survived a 4 INT game by Jake to beat Oakland
- Atlanta whips our ass
- Smith's catches save our ass in Green Bay

- NYG?
- New Orleans?

So what do we think? Have we gelled enough now to play a decent game on the road? We have to! Can we finally kick some butt on the road? Someone may want to tell the team the Super Bowl ain't in Uptown.

Looking at it like that, we have struggled more than our road record indicates. However, we are clearly a better team than the SD, Minn, and TB games. I would love to have that one back to do over against the Vikings, damn. We may get that chance. Some of those games our offense let us down, but D came through (Oak), and others our defense sucked, but offense saved the day (GB). When both units are clicking (as in right now), I think we're okay.

We beat NY and rest our starters in the Saints game. Yet somehow make a game out of it and pull out a win. : )

Win at Giants. Panthers 31, Giants 28
Lose at Saints as Fox rests team for a meaningless game, Saints 28-Panthers 20

I just don't get how we can "be" that much better at home. It makes no sense to me. I don't see how crowd noise, and familiarity can give you THAT much of an edge...because we ARE two different teams to date on the road and at home. But maybe we've turned a new leaf? I really think we're going to beat NY in a close one. I really really do.

I would love to think we slumped at the right time of the season. Ihope that we play as we have the past couple weeks.
