I like many different kinds of music. Everything from Jeff Buckley to Between the Buried and Me. My favorite band is Avenged Sevenfold. I was wondering what some of everyone's favorite bands are. It's always good to try out new bands/genre's.

The Divine Comedy - described sometimes as Chamber Pop because of the heavy use of strings. Reminds me of modern Burt Bacharach (sp?).

If you like that upon giving it a listen, consider The Magnetic Fields and Scott Walker as well. And Pulp/Jarvis Cocker...I could go on.

I've seen them live 5 times. From the Waking the Fallen days to now. My favorite shows of theirs were during the City of Evil days. I saw them in Myrtle Beach at the tail end of their Cities of Evil tour. It was amazing.

was there. Only saw them one other time at Amos' for their self-titled album. I literally played their music for 2 str8 years at one point on a day to day basis.
