When did it become popular to call Charleston, SC "Chucktown"?

Better than the visitors who insist on saying "Chaaaahl-stn."

Neither are as bad as fugtards saying "Nwahlns" but that's not my city.

Chucktown can only be called such from those from or have lived or are living in SC at one point or another.

It's annoyed me for several years, only now it has bubbled up onto teh interwebs where all good discourse belongs. I'm convinced this has happened in the last 10 years.

Wouldyou rather it be called Jasetown?

I already own that city so this would be suitable.
