I saved a baby white squirrel this morning from certain death. He was laying sideways in the grass in front of my business in a pool of rising water. I brought the little guy inside and wrapped him in a towel to warm up and dry off.

He's now at the humane society where one of the employees who raises squirrels is taking care of him.

I've done my good deed for the day, now where's my damn cookie?

Squirrels = rats with furry tails.

Today was way different from the course of action I usually take. I've gotten really good at the eye-brain-eye shot from the couch to the bird feeder. But this time, for once, I was very humane. Maybe I'm softening up....like the Panthers D.

Natural selection says that this squirrel was meant to die. Albino and too weak to survive on its own.

Congrats on weakening the entire squirrel race. Just think of all the offspring that this squirrel will produce that will be easy owl fodder. It's practically squirrel genocide. You disgust me.

And it brings down the owls and other predators by allowing them to think their prey is easy hunting, which then slackens their skills, getting lazy and eventually they end up starving to death...thus bringing down the whole ecosystem. Good job.

I found a lady at the local humane society yesterday, who raises squirrels and she took him in to see if she could nurse him back to health.

Unfortunately, he died last night. Poor little fella.
