SC's defense is officially legit.

Craig James said during the broadcast last night that the Cocks are "definitely a top 15 team in the country."

And it made me weep. Maybe sometime soon they'll actually be healthy on the D-Line...and a whatif with Paulk being gone for the season.

Tweeder, stop stealing my line.

They are finally letting Garcia throw the football down field. That is helping them. I still feel they are a middle of the road SEC team though. They need something on offense because 16 points in SEC play may not get you a lot of wins. Fortunately their defense is amazing and Norwood shows up in big games, but they better put up more points.

Since I attend USC, I was lucky enough to be in that student section...and there is only one word that can describe the electricity of Williams-Brice last night: Sandstorm. :D

Gah, I can't wait til they enclose that endzone. It'll get ridiculously loud.

Who did Ole Miss beat to get to #4 in the first place?

Anyway, good win for the Cocks, no doubt about it. That Norwood kid is something special, and Garcia is looking better and better. Maybe Spurrier is finally realizing that it's better to go with one QB, instead of screwing up the offensive rhythm by switching them all the time.

Since Garcia got his head on straight he is starting to show why he was one of the highest ranked talents coming out of high school. He is a better runner than most people think and has a cannon for an arm. When the receivers learn to catch Spurrier will get to put in his real offense. The D is playing like they mean it and thats with several starters injured and three freshmen starters.
