I thought a person was guilty by association. Or at least that's what we were told a few months back.

If that's no longer the case, that's as it should be.

How many degrees of separation are you going to associate Palin with this?

This is Sarah Palin's future in-law (that is unless Bristol wants to raise her baby in sin).

I think that fact alone makes it newsworthy.

Sure, as soon as you let me know when Obama is arrested for somehow conspiring with Ayers for terrorism or whatever it's been you harping about for over a year.

"Questionable ties" and "unanswered questions" and all that.....what a joke, homer.

You think the two situations are related in your twisted world, don't you? And I'm the homer. When you get those pics of Sarah Palin taking hits off the crack pipe with that chick, again, let me know...I'm sure they're as buddy-buddy as Obama and Ayers, right?

Sarah Palin is as much of a cipher as the conservative movement.

Let her fade into oblivion in peace.

"buddy buddy"...you really are an idiot but I will say you are the master of self deception.

The whole point of the conversation is that we all know people that we have to deal with even if we don't necessarily like them much, and all you want to say is "he's worse! he's worse!" No one here that I can see is judging Palin based on this woman, but you can't stop yourself from making insinatuations based on how you want things to be instead of how things usually work in the real world.

When I start throwing insults at you, feel free to reciprocate.

You people have been passing judgment on Palin at every turn for 4 months, right or wrong.

If by "passing judgement" you mean demonstrating that she does not have a clue about running the government on a federal level, the fact that she was selected primarily as eye candy for McCain, the way the religious right loved her despite her pregnant out of wedlock daughter that would have most certainly been a huge deal if it was one of Obamas daughters, then yes, a lot of us have been passing judgement. The way the polls and the election shook out seem to suggest that most people eventually came to the same conclusion about her.

In contrast, what we all had to endure for much longer was how Obama was going to turn us into a socialist country, how he was going to sell out to the terrorists, hearing his middle name used as his first name over and over, how with the lack of any kind of direct involvement with Rezko and Ayers that it was just "unanswered questions" over and over when of course they were answered long before the nominations were made, terrorist fist bumps, America hating wife, madrassas, made up birth certificates..hell we were downright nice to the lady comparatively speaking - the difference this year is that we all refused to let the right walk all over us and trust that their followers would see though the BS, because clearly they are for the most part incapable of that.

The whole "Obamessiah" thing is a perfect example - all of his supporters here at least had no illusions of what the man can and cannot do, yet the right continued to use this expression as a way to describe their derision of the left as a replacement for acknowledging the failures of 8 years of Republican rule and the possibility that a different direction is what we desperately need.

jury is still out on this one....hell they ain't even called a jury yet!

There's a little bit of a difference as far as I can tell though...Palin is no longer relevant, while our new President-to-be certainly is. There's really no reason for the left to keep harping on Palin. She and her would-be boss lost, end of story. Let her candidacy be forgotten...like Geraldine Ferraro.

Unfortunately Palin isnt going to go away until she realizes that she has 0% chance of winning the nomination in 2012. The republicans are going to try and get a bunch of young guns in politics, and shes up on the list....god knows why....

She looks good, likes guns, is a religious nut and has no experience in national politics - ergo, she's a shoe in.
