biggest panther game in team history- no excuses.

Some of you guys are really blowing this game up to be a little more than it is. It's a big game, but it's certainly not the biggest.

I can think of at least 10 examples of bigger games. At least 5-6 of them at home.

We can lose this game and still make the playoffs so it isnt that big of a game.

biggest in panthers history was a little off- I admitt. (SB38 was it)

but Its the biggest game this season, the difference in the outcome is huge. Not only for our playoff chances, but confidence as well.

It is a huge game.

:chillpill:

I'm not going to the game. I get so wound up for the game that my innards have decided to protest. I could go, spend most of the night in the bathroom listening to the radio feed. But I choose to stay home and be more comfortable. I will miss it greatly. I'd rather be there, hate watching a game on tv now, can't see enough of the field on tv. My son is taking his fiancé and they both have promised to lose their voices tonight. :o

I'll be sitting in my favorite chair, wrapped in a blanket, with a bottle of Mike's hard lemonade in my hand. I'm hoping the Mike's helps me calm down because none of the meds I'm taking are doing the job when it comes to the Panthers.

    • Could be. Hope to be.  I see the big time potential in both. In my opinion-The biggest obstical I see (not only with them but in many young players) is their self confidence. Taking it from "flashing" to "breaking out" or "to the next level" is an imaginary obstacle that stands in the way of a lot of players with potential. To get over the hump, it can take a play, a game or a season to get their mind right with the confidence that they can perform at another level.  KB and Funch have good coaching and all the skills necessary to be the guy, but in the end, they are human too. Most won't admit but the majority of people perform in a "fake it till you make it" environment so to speak.   Lack of confidence or conversely, proving to yourself you can do it, is not only important to the average Joe like you and I but to them as well.  Some guys get over the hump and exceed their own expectations enough to where it becomes standard practice. Others never quite get that bit of confidence or courage to take it one step above their self imposed ceiling.  Im optimistic so I think these two guys can break through. We will certainly have a good read on their direction this season.  PS- Did I use enough quotations?
