Terrestrial radio is easily the worst medium in existence. I'd rather have a daily newspaper than listen to 6 minute increments of zany caller-driven sportstalk or far-right wing hysteria followed by 9 minutes of commercials.

There really are stations that play music.

That and faced with a lifetime of Big Brother, CSI, How I Met Your Mother, and Wheel of Fortune(Torture) Id use the TV to fashion some means of suicide.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia > Anything on Terrestrial Radio

And I'm a loyal subscriber to SIRIUS.

No It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for you!

If the TV came with anything but over the air Id agree with you but pstall (the OP) says rabbit ears only...

I'd rather have books, but I guess to stay within the confines of the mythology the choice is radio or tv.

Radio, no question.

I'd also like a pair of ice skates, divorce papers, a weird pleather dress, a bunch of VHS tapes, and a volleyball.
