Viencent OUT.

Kemo most likely OUT.

Beason sick all week.

Snow/Rain.

Giants back against the wall.

Jacobs back.

Giants basically injury free.

@ Giants stadium....

Don't go crazy if we lose this one folks.

BE very impressed if we win it, for this one is heavily stacked against us.

Not really. The Panthers are playing better football than the Giants have for quite some time. Does that mean we're handed a W? Of course not. But there's no reason to approach every tough game expecting to lose.

Edit: In hindsight, this post does too much generalizing. Forgive me and my junior member ways.

I'm not worried by any of that. The 20 other starters haven't forgotten how to play.

back against the wall? meh

I don't think we'll notice much of a drop off on the right side of the line. I would be pretty comfortable with Bridges as the full time starter anyway.

The likelihood of Kemoeatu's absence is making me really nervous, though.

The sky is not going to fall either way, but don't be surprised when we win.

second, I'm not worried either. But I also don't think the board will melt away if we do lose. But I don't think we will.

You are just dragging out the worst possible things. You neglect to say the things that even up this game dramatically. Jacobs will probably play but you have to realize he has a torn PCL, god put it in us for a reason, hes not 100% and one wrong hit could hurt him. Vincent is on out but, we have two VERY capable backups. Giants have not won a home game in December in a while. Eli Manning has a hard time with that stadium wind, which could go both ways, BUT we have seen Jake succeed in the Meadowlands (2005 WC Playoffs) I believe your a pessimist haha This game isnt as easy to decide the winner as you think.

Board will not melt unless Panthers lose this one and the NO game.

I think the Panthers have a good chance of winning this one.

I think we'll clinch before the game even starts, so it would be something to be happy about even if given a loss. Don't let me down, huddle.

I have a strong feeling this game will be in the hands of Jake. Whoever replaces Kemo will have some huge shoes to fill - there's a reason Beason is able to run sideline to sideline and make tackles.

Why'd you show us a half-empty glass?

we aren't going to lose to the giants twice and we won't lose to them at home.

outcome of this game is important but it isn't the playoffs and all it will do is tell us how much work needs to be done to get through the playoffs.

I don't care about the outcome provided we play em tough and have a playoff spot secured by tomorrow night

If someone could guarantee me a victory in NO, I come dangerously close to wanting us to lose in order to refocus.

While those are all negatives and seem daunting. Giants are hurting just as well. The best thing either has going is the home field; which goes to the Giants. Should be a very good game. I can understand your nervousness though, and I won't be disappointed if we lose a hard fought one. Builds character :)

It just seems to me...we beat Tampa Bay and rushed for 300 yards when one of their D-tackle starters was out. That bodes ill for us.

Bottom line: if we're as good as we're supposed to be, this is a win. If there's work to do, we deserve the loss, and the Panthers can begin working on those weaknesses.

All this week I've heard that Carolina is a team that "only wins at home." Talk about a perfect opportunity to prove otherwise.

Those that do not believe in the wisdom of Kurb are bound to regret it.

I agree Kurb. Everything is setting up for the Gmen.

If we win, it will be marked as one of the greatest Panther victory of all time. But it still doesn't mean a Superbowl win.

And it doesn't mean we are out of the playoffs.

Let's see what we win first people.

its not about who is playing better ball recently its all about who wants it more and the giants have their backs against the wall.

I guess the Panthers are under absolutely no pressure, then?

Relax, fellows, our boys understand what's riding on this game. They've got just as much motivation to play their best football tomorrow night.
