Not really. The Panthers are playing better football than the Giants have for quite some time. Does that mean we're handed a W? Of course not. But there's no reason to approach every tough game expecting to lose.

Edit: In hindsight, this post does too much generalizing. Forgive me and my junior member ways.

I don't think we'll notice much of a drop off on the right side of the line. I would be pretty comfortable with Bridges as the full time starter anyway.

The likelihood of Kemoeatu's absence is making me really nervous, though.

You are just dragging out the worst possible things. You neglect to say the things that even up this game dramatically. Jacobs will probably play but you have to realize he has a torn PCL, god put it in us for a reason, hes not 100% and one wrong hit could hurt him. Vincent is on out but, we have two VERY capable backups. Giants have not won a home game in December in a while. Eli Manning has a hard time with that stadium wind, which could go both ways, BUT we have seen Jake succeed in the Meadowlands (2005 WC Playoffs) I believe your a pessimist haha This game isnt as easy to decide the winner as you think.

I have a strong feeling this game will be in the hands of Jake. Whoever replaces Kemo will have some huge shoes to fill - there's a reason Beason is able to run sideline to sideline and make tackles.

we aren't going to lose to the giants twice and we won't lose to them at home.

outcome of this game is important but it isn't the playoffs and all it will do is tell us how much work needs to be done to get through the playoffs.
