Just watched it again.

Best horror movie of all time.

Why is it no one can touch it 30 years later with all the fancy CGI crap these days.

Ranked third behind "Jaws" and "Alien" on the "Scariest 100" list (discussed here).

Objectively, I agree it's one of the scariest of all time, but I can honestly say it never scared me all that much.

There's a movie coming out soon called "Paranormal Activity" that's supposed to be really scary. Looks a little like Blair Witch.

Agreed. Unfortunately nowadays horror movies confuse "cheap thrills" and "sideshow pop out antics" with real horror.
