Oakland Raiders:Time to call the Carolina Panthers for Graham Gano

Recommended Posts

This has to be the most a GM has ever done to try and secure a conditional 7th rounder by hoarding average kickers.

Even if Hurney wins he loses bc WHY?!!

This has to be a bet or a dare JR gave him to get the Full time GM gig.

Would be nice if they had a safety to swap for a kicker or running back or both.

Obi is on IR so their safety depth is shot.  I'd obviously GIVE a pick to get Gano's stink and salary outta here.

But if young safety depth is the goal, try and goad the Cardinals for Rudy Ford.  He barely made the 53 there (supposedly for special teams) and they have 5 safeties.  Phil Dawson (while better than Gano) is 42 so maybe they don't know how bad Gano is and can be bamboozled.  I would throw in an additional late rounder and/or Colin Jones if necessary.

Raiders would be stupid for this one. They could sign Josh Lambo off the street and he would be cheaper and younger with a slightly higher make percentage.

Edit: Just read the article, this is an opinion piece from a guy not associated with the Raiders. OP acting like they were in negotiations or something.

Lord don't let Hurney hear you say that.  That man will throw picks away like a snot rage if you get him stirred up.

Getting anything for Gano is a pipe dream. Knock me over with a feather if it happens. I'd certainly give a pick to get rid of Gano.  Gano and a pick for Ford is too good to be true.  Sigh.

Agree with harbinger.... gtfo with this Gano hate. He's a great kicker who had a few bad games. And off the field he's a better man than you could ever hope to be.

He may very well be Brittany, he may very well not be.  You don't know me.

I hate it too but he's poison to this football team.  XP Seattle 2015, XP New Orleans 2016, Super Bowl 50, week 1 2016, less than 80% career, paid to be a top kicker.

He must go.  I will wish him well when that day (hopefully today) inevitably comes, but he must.

bink is the sound the football makes hitting the goal posts...

Their defense may be worse than the saints this year. You really want someone off that squad?
