What they are saying in San Fran

Being a head coach for the first time is a learning curve.  Ron took some lumps his first year and still has some things to learn.  Give him 3 years to put his team together and then be the judge.  Hope they beat the Seachickens .

49ers don't typically give their coaches that much time.

The article said a 6 year contract.  I know that doesn't mean much but if they can keep this going in the right direction who knows how good they can be at the end of 6 years.

the main complaint of the article seemed to be that one side of the stadium gets kind of hot and they need to do something about that. Ah, California.

I was on that side. It was brutal.

It was pretty hot but not sure what they could do about it. Build a giant sunshade?

I think there's always going to be lingering San Franciscan resentment towards that stadium so long as they have to travel to San Jose to watch a game.

Lynch got one for that long as well. That's just not a team I would trust with a long term contract. They're pretty much becoming the browns of the west coast in that regard.

fwiw, my inlaws are from Reno and big niner fans.

They knew going in they were going to get killed.

The Panthers were prepared for it, had those guys on the sideline.

Still not sure why the niners put us on the sunny side but let us wear our whites.

But honestly, every southern facing stadium side gets hot.

We really got inside of their heads:3.PNG.6c0b872aad782031c8c062d4073887a3.PNGwert.PNG.26da0c1d514d9feffcd0e9e17039f81c.PNG

And a bunch of people arguing over whether to bring Kaep back or not, and that Carolina has a mediocre defensive line so they should REALLY be scared of the Rams and Seahawks.  We fuged them up.

That would be a mistake on their part if they do cut Shanahan too early. The guy is a good coach and will turn that team around, If they pull in the right talent, in the future.

Before Foster went out, we weren't doing much either. We only beat them by 20 points. I'm not diminishing a victory, but it's not like we hung 30-40 points on them. Their team is raw and lacking talent on offense and they still made a game of it for the first three quarters. Another draft and some good FA moves and they could be nasty.

That said, I'm glad Cam got a chance to shake off his rust against a team that still has its training wheels. It was great to see things clicking in the 2nd half.
