Former Giants Defensive Coordinators

Everyone knows about Fox but I didn't realize this:

This time, the Giants are going up against two of their former defensive coordinators. John Fox served in that role from 1997-2001 before becoming Panthers coach, and Tim Lewis had the job for three years before being fired after the 2006 season and becoming Carolina's secondary coach.

Maybe he will have them primed for a couple of interceptions tonight.

It would be nice especially when our MLB is our leading member with INT's.

Tim Lewis will probably end up helping more, Fox was DC so long ago, their offense has changed alot since then.

Personel may have changed but thats about it. The Giants and Panthers are really mirror images when it comes to the philosiphy of the teams. Both of these teams will be very fimilar with each other based on that fact. This game will go down to execution, not scheme.

Other than the whole thing with a new head coach,new defensive cord., almost entirely diff team.

Agree. Turnovers and special team play IMHO. We are too close in other areas.

They dont think to much of Lewis in Ny.

Well I love our Corners and Safetys and they have done nothing but get better, so I do.
