Trump calls black NFL players son of a bitch

Ok bruh

nothing has changed. players are kneeling for the same reasons. the same people hate kaepernick for it that hated him for it before, for the exact same reasons. now idk maybe you realised you were on the wrong side of history but rather than admit you were wrong from the beginning you're attempting to thread the needle. you were either wrong then or you're wrong now. if kaepernick was wrong to protest police brutality by kneeling then people who would kneel because trump said a bad word are also wrong. trump made his position clear back in march. this isn't new. stop pretending that anything changed. own your shame.

My prediction? Carolina sees their first player take a knee Sunday.  League wide? A crazy amount of people take knee.

Glad your made-up friend agrees with you in his made-up internet post that some other white guy photoshopped to have a hard-ass black ally who don't take no mess.

Maybe you guys can be super hard together and make mean expressions at snowflakes on the local college campus. Buddy comedy material right there.

Things and circumstances always change.  That is life.  Injustice may be a consistent issue but the current environment being created overall is changing.  Trump in effect.

Check out this Sunday.   Reason you will see a change this Sunday is because the current environment and tone is changing.   Becoming more than just systematic injustice but a leader breeding hate and anti-American leadership from the WH.

So you think Cam, Wilson, and literally countless black athletes were wrong because they voiced they disagreed with CK's early method and ways....despite agreeing with the overall cause and what he was attempting to generate awareness too?  They all on the wrong side of history too, huh...

never said CK was wrong to bring awareness or protest.

you essentially created a fictional stance that you think I have....because I found some issues with CK despite agreeing with what he wanted to do big picture.  That is a problem to  today....people just draw a line and say agree with everything I say or you are against me

I would feel better about this team as a fan if we saw players taking a stand tomorrow. If our image is being the "good guy" team, this is a good time to show it.

Of course, it's selfish to ask younger men in the prime of their careers, with generations of financial security at stake, to subject themselves to the most powerful and destructive forces in our national life - white supremacy and racial inequality - when we've already seen one prominent career permanently thrown into the blackball bin. You can't blame guys for staying clear.

But it would be a beautiful thing.

I also think you will see some planned out things with teams that don't involve the knee.   As mad as Trump just made the NFL.  The knee is still tricky for tons of black athletes and that isn't because they are afraid of being benched, being fired, or losing sponsorships.

Goes back to a basic that Google JBC can't acknowledge.  Plenty of black athletes won't take a knee for the anthem because of what it means to them.  They have voiced that.

but Ben Sasse really nailed Trump's mindset on twitter.

what Trump wants to see is division.  Sunday he wants a league full of players kneeling. It puts him and the flag on the same side.

NFL should make a stand.  But it might be wise to keep in mind what Trump wants out of the deal.

He's intentionally brewing a new storm and laying the groundwork for a spat with athletes of the two most popular sports in the country.

You have to think he's near the end of his rope with picking fights.  Who's left after the entertainment biz, DC,  NYC VCs, and now the sports world?  He's isolating this country from the world and meanwhile pissing everyone off within the country.

Projecting isolationism at a global level and stirring division within...yeah, this should work swimmingly.
