I’m excited to see Lamb start he’s been putting in work this offseason.

Could Nic get Wally pip'd?

Lamb is the more aggersive scorer we want Nic to be.

With the minutes if he starts to put up 15 to 20 ppg and reach his potential as a player could Nic's job be in jepoardy?

Nic is a great guy and a really good all-around player, but he isnt necessarily great at anything.  I appreciate all the things he does, but he is too passive in all honesty.  It reminds me a lot of Boris Diaw.  They have huge potential and skill-wise, possess an ability to take over a game, but they just don't.  They like to live in the voids of the game and defer to other people...  with all that being said, there are things we'll miss from his absence, but I also think we gain something with Monk getting a bulk of those freed up minutes now.  Regardless, hope he heals up soon!

I'm thinking they'll trade Jeremy while his stock is high if him and Monk come out strong. As frustrating as Nic can be his skillset is hard to replace; he's the only real distributor on the team. He has nights where he shoots as well as anyone and his passing and defense is consistently better than what Lamb and Monk offer.

^^ agreed.. Batum is really our Point/Forward.. he can guard any position from the 1-4 and not give up much..

it is really beneficial to have a distributor that is as big as he is becus he can see over most of his defenders - lobbing passes to Dwight and finding shooters on the outside or a cutting MKG.. he will be missed but i think this will speed up the growth of Monk - you can see he is already dominating the shots/minutes in preseason..

Kemba was 2-4 and Monk was 7-22.. never ever gunna happen in a regular game.. lets keep our stars healthy and bring along the young buck now..
