Alternate meaning of "route"

Recommended Posts

I just learned this morning that there's an urban dictionary meaning of the word route. It also means "hoe". Now watch the interview with hoe instead of route and you can see Cam's face start smiling at that point.

I have an immature sense of humor but I'd not have been able to keep a straight face either.

You very well may be onto something here, the grin when she talks about Funchess's "physical routes" looks more like an immature giggle than a sexist snicker.

Well, it got moved so there won't be much discussion on this now. Was curious about others' takes since I had never heard the word used that way.

Never heard it used like that either but this scenario isn't the craziest theory that's been posted on this board. Would make sense as to why he wouldn't immediately think  to apologize/backpedal as well.  Interesting if this was indeed the case.

And it makes his comment about the joke being on him be in a better context.

And didn't he supposedly tell her that she (and the other reporters) didn't know what I route was?

He told her that they only see catches and drops and don't know routes.

Yea, seemed entirely plausible that he giggled about the route comment, joked about talking to a female about routes (alt definition) and then proceeded to get back on topic.

38 thumbs up and 105 thumbs down? Not a legit slang term.

As determined by a handful of random internet votes? Nah. Could very well be legit, if only regional.
