Wow, great news. Could the music scene finally start getting better and fix itself? Pearl Jam still jamming, AIC dropping an awesome album, and Soundgarden rumors (all members were at this show) about a reunion... oh man. And STP together again.

To me that was the best generation of music in the last 20 years. Pretty exciting. It's awesome they are all still friends instead of letting egos get to them all.

STP was very good live, even if Scott was about to pass out drunk.

I heard when he shows up/gets on the stage he's awesome.

I really hope he is over that stuff and they put out some good tunes (although their last album was blah so hopefully it's a bit better).

Dude we went to see STP this past Tuesday at HOB Myrtle Beach and they freakin' rocked out. It was a fantastic show... didn't know they had a new album coming, but I thought it was about time.

Yeah me too (about Soundgarden) I've always went back to them more for listens. Cornell's voice still blows me away (and it's still great despite what people say, I have a bookleg from like 2004 where he did acoustic set and it was amazing). I think he has the best pure ROCK voice, honestly.

does this make anyone else feel old?

i remember people talking about reunions from Yes and the Who and bands like that when I was in high school/first shot at college.

it's been nearly 20 years since grunge started. ugh.
