or would he be the best tackle in the league if Trai would start playing the way he can?

Norwell is doing the same bailing out on the Left, and you don't see Matt's name up there, do you? I hope Williams continues to excel this Sunday since Trai likely will be inactive.

He was a good GM and didn't deserve to be thrown under the bus. Don't care what some say on here. The guy new his sh%t about player evaluation and cap management. His next team will be lucky to get him.

Agreed and not every rookie is a stud right away. You can’t evaluate a GM for 4 drafts in 4 years. Oh well, still glad to have these guys.

Exactly. Last year the 2015 draft looked bad but now it's pretty damn clear that Funch, Williams and Mayo were all definite great picks. Shaq is still up in the air. He's solid, not looking like worthy of a 1st rounder, but there's still time if he can have a more clearly defined role in the D. And CAP ain't no slouch either, for where he was picked. I don't understand why people can't be more patient with young players.

Don’t forget Mayo and CAP were comp picks, the fruits of which came from letting guys go after 2013 for the betterment of our long term health.

We're very fortunate to have Daryl under contract next year.  After that, looks like he'll be another big contract we'll have to deal with.  And he deserves it.
