I have an employee who grossly overuses the phrase "you know".

Jay Cutler is probably the worst on the planet with this.

My mother in law uses the phrase "ya see" at the end of EVERY sentence. It pisses me the eff off!

i have to be dyslexic... i read that as "someone saying 'see ya' at the end of every sentence".

that would really fug with me

I had a flight chief that would constantly wipe his nose with the palm of his hand.

That was annoying.

We should send people who say "sick" to describe something cool, to a country and blow that country up.

"Aww dude that touchdown run from David Carr on Sunday was totally sick bro, you know?"

I started answering, "I know"...but cant bring myself to do it all 36 times. He's not getting it. My wife says i have to tell him. He's pretty fragile right now as it is.

You must break him.

One of my staff say "and everthing" at the end of every sentence. Drives me nuts. Also annoying is her habit of not telling the truth...then there is no eye contact..in fact her eyes dart everywhere else.

Its gotten to the point its driving me insane. Its usually at the end of a sentence, you know?

last two conversations i counted.

8 minutes - 20 times
12 minutes 36 times.

You must work with my wife....one day I am going to walk out of the house and never come back because of it.

Match that with her sister starting each sentence off with : "What I am trying to say is...." and it is enough to plunge rusty corkscrews into your ears.

Frank Garcia on WFNZ is the king of "you know." First he repeats what everyone else said, the only difference being his gross overusage of you know. then he says something dumb, and adds another 5-6 you knows.

It drives me insane.
