Turner, Norwell, and Williams are all pretty good football players.

But Gettleman never did anything with the line while he was here so they don't count.

People don't really want to believe it but we've had one of the better O-lines in the league over the past few years. O-line play in general has been down, but comparatively, ours isn't as bad as other teams.

When 4 out of 5 of our offensive linemen are Pro-Bowl caliber guys and your offense is sputtering, it's less on the GM and more on the O-Coordinator.

But Gettleman didn't deliver us a Jordan Gross like he promised, he cut him instead on his first year of the job (forced retirement)

Gettleman should have known that Oher (graded as nearly all-pro when he revived his career here) had a hx of concussions

Who is it that once bet me that Star would have a better career than DeAndre Hopkins? I wanted Hopkins in the first round that year.

Don’t be afraid, step up and own your bullshit.

They've moved on to blaming Gettleman for not having starter caliber O-line backups, lol.

But what do I know, i'm just one of those gettleman-worshipers @TheRed was talking about, and should be more grateful for all the wonderful work Hurney's done

Excuse me?

Our failures at consistently building along the OL the last several years fall squarely on both Hurney, and Gettleman.

If you can argue with that, I don't know what to tell you.

Also, I don't want Hurney here. So it helps if you actually know what you're talking about.

Gano should have made kicker.

I was wondering about that. I heard a stat that he had only missed one FG this year. Is that right?

Yep. Basically 97% accuracy on field goals. Nothing over 48 so far, but he kicks what they tell him to. And he has been booming them on the kick offs. There were a couple of extra point hiccups, though.

Makes you wonder, what’s the bigger joke: the pro bowl or pff

I would say the pro bowl. I don't always agree with how PFF measures a player, but at least they use some kind of stats. Pro bowl is a popularity contest.

Gano has been pretty consistent but it's absurd that we're paying him amongst the highest in the league at his position and can't trust him to kick a 50 yarder.

Keep in mind this is the "PFF" version of the NFL All-Pro team...not the official version. I questioned it when I saw Matt Ryan as 2nd team QB and Dion Lewis as 2nd team RB...stopped from there. The official All-Pro team is much more prestigious and isn't decided by fans like the Pro Bowl.

Matt Ryan has only thrown interception worthy throws on 1% of his passes this year. (8 of 12 were not his fault) Big reason he is #2.

Is it that we can't trust him or we got a scared coach? Gino hasn't gotten angry already this season about not being allowed to kick long field goals.

And how does PFF knows which were his fault? Sounds subjective

He barely throws past the LOS let alone downfield that much. Do you see the YAC his receivers go out there and get for him? It helps to have receivers capable of actually running routes and getting open, along with an OC who knows how to design plays.
