This really dragged out too long. It should have happened 2 or 3 years ago honestly.

When we couldn't even make the playoffs in one of the worst years for the eastern conference in NBA history, that should have sealed it.

No it pretty much is all his fault. Change the rotations and play / not play certain players and we more than likely make the playoffs and he saves his job.

Some of the players sucked all year...maybe coach failed in getting them playing better, but the players were bad

I don't disagree, but when guys are sucking on an entirely different level of suck e.g Batum and Carter-Williams, you have to make a change. Even if it is for an unkown. You can't wait until there are 10 games left in the season and you're eliminated from the playoffs to do so. That's how you lose your job.
