Infinity Wars spoilers discussion

Yeah, these are based off of comics and in comics..no one dies. Except banshee and cyclops apparently.

Also, cap won’t die, steve Rogers may, but cap will live on thru Bucky. I still feel like Steve will “retire” and let Bucky be the guy. If any of these deaths “stick”, as much as I like vision, he is most expendable.

There is literally no way Spiderman is dead. Sony wouldn't allow it.

Further, there is really no way they would kill off Black Panther. He's possible their most marketable super hero franchise now.

The future of marvel is Spidey, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Dr. Strange, Bucky/Falcon

They likely think they're being clever in some multiverse perspective, these characters are dead while their counterparts are alive and well.

Eh, I think they are dead.

But somehow the timestone will be used to set things right.

Here is a leaked photo from the filming of the next one.

Somehow Ant Man is in NYC with what looks like the original avengers from the first movie. Maybe he and Wasp shrink down so small they go into the time stone?

Tom Holland is a hell of an actor. His playing of Spider-Man has been fantastic. I haven't seen that many people cry over a superhero movie since The Dark Knight trilogy.

I can't wait to take my kids to see this this weekend and watch them freak out...totally going to play into it and get them all riled up.  "Spidey's dead, gone forever.  Yep."

You.... monster.. Lol

When my wife and I went to our showing, we were next to a group of kids that were losing their poo when they saw Groot go. It was heartbreaking. Lol.

So I finally saw it today.  Worth it.  My eyes got a little sweaty at the end.

It was such a blast until that final 15 minutes...  But on the flip side, I knew that the deaths were all temporary.  I look forward to seeing how the remaining Avengers are able defeat Thanks.  As soon as Thanks used the time stone to undo Vision's death, I knew it would come back a 3rd time, a la the rule of 3s.

Man, I am really looking forward to seeing the next installment, and Captain Marvel.

Though I have to wonder what she's been up to?  She's the most powerful superhero, why hasn't she been around to help anything.  Feels very deus ex machina.  Hope that they explain everything well.

ewwwwwwwwwww why did they bring that suit back for Cap? Its terrible. His armour has never been better than it was in Infinity War. I understand it will be a coming home story but man give him something more modern looking. Hell it would be great if Tony gave him a Iron Captain suit as a peace offering

His best costume was the Winter Soldier one imo. You are right, his Avengers costume is poop.

Interesting thought on the ending.

Just before Strange turns to dust he looks at Stark and says, “Tony, it was the only way.”

Now at first glance it seems obvious Strange is talking about giving Thanos the time stone, thus initiating half the population’s demise.

But what if Strange is actually foreshadowing events from the next film? Maybe when Strange went into the future he saw that Stark will have to sacrifice himself in order to defeat Thanos and bring everyone back, and THAT is what he’s referring to with “it was the only way”.

If there is a double meaning there, it’s a heart breaking goodbye from Strange to Stark that we will look back on.

Yeah I think that's pretty obvious since Strange said he seen all futures and they win in ONE.    In that future Stark has to live for them to succeed in beating Thanos.    I don't think it necessarily means he'll have to die, he may, but more so if they didn't just give him the time stone Thanos kills Stark and wins the war and they all lose just like the other futures except that one.

An absolutely incredible film. I'm still in shock they pulled off all those characters while making it compelling, entertaining and hilarious.

Oh and they established the hardest villain to date in the MCU with arguably the best results. I say hardest because you had to really feel the weight of Thanos. From opening scene to finale, they did it.

Thanos character was awesome.  His "children" were extremely tough as well.  At the length of this movie it felt like it flew by.  Amazing.

Oh and the new Iron Man suit was bad ace.
