What happens if he decides we need "change" at quarterback?

Mind you, I don't think that's gonna happen, but I do have to acknowledge that it's possible.

Then it happens

i want to win SBs.

I love my players but ive had feel good stories over winning for a while now.

I think I know what your opinion is gonna be.

Well I don't like it...but I'll reserve judgement on Tepper personally until the press conference.

I don't have an opinion on Tepper because I don't know much about him.   I'm just glad the sale is done.

So with Ian Rapoport now confirming Tepper, what's your reaction?

Love it? Hate it? Fear it? Embrace it?

What..and why? And what are your predictions for what happens next?

Can't do much when the Coach & GM leads you to a SB win.

Whatever gets Jerry the fug outta here I'm ok with. If does indeed bring more of a business like approach instead of our traditional "county club" atmosphere even better.

When does Felix Sabates start whining about a new stadium so that charlotte can get a super bowl?

I am concerned with reports of his extreme frugality.  It probably won't affect the overall money spent on players, but it could very well affect coaching salaries and the Panthers' ability to attract good people.  Then again, he's a very accomplished business man so he may well understand the value of spending money to make money.  We'll have to wait and see.

Ask this question again in three years. Impossible to answer now. Does he want to win or does he just want to own an nfl to pad his portfolio?

Third happiest day as a fan of this franchise behind the two NFC Championship games. Also the most important day of this franchise's history.

We finally got rid of the cancer that has held this team back for two decades plus. The single worst owner in the NFL is out of the league and our lives forever. He was a fraud who never gave two shits about the fans and always prioritized the health of the league over the franchise. Good riddance to that clown and for the first time in franchise history we have a real opportunity to become a legitimate franchise with sustained success. There is nothing that David Tepper could do worse than what his joke of a predecessor has done.

Be pumped everyone. It's a great day to be a fan of the Carolina Panthers.

I don't know that there is anything to "Like" about Tepper at this moment.

Of course there is. He's not that idiot He bought the team from. It's now the first time ever you have rooted for a legitimate NFL franchise in the Carolinas.

Imagine finding out the piece of trash human being Jerry Richardson actually  is and still defending him. Lolololol

First let me say that as a fan of the team that Richardson founded I am very thankful.

I'm also saddened that the founder of my favorite team quite possibly is someone that we as fans cannot be proud of due to his own proclivities but must look upon him in shame.

With that said, I am looking forward to a new era of football that is not controlled by the whim's of an old man who has mired this franchise in mediocrity since inception.  I welcome it, I embrace it, I will keep an open mind.

I'll be cautiously optimistic until I have reason not to be. Basically like most of our draft picks.
