He's nuts but that's what you want in a oline man you want some angry maniac that's going to plow thru people

Incognito isn't that kind of nuts.

Andrew Norwell is that kind of nuts.

Incognito is the actual, genuinely bad, danger to himself and others kind of nuts.

On the field nuts is okay. Off the field nuts is to be avoided at all costs.

I'd add for the record that incognito was only an average to half decent blocker at his best. And he's definitely not at his best anymore.

Anybody looking for the "oh he's crazy he must be great" angle is barking up the wrong tree.

Think Conor McGregor.

I hate the big lulls in the offseason. Two of the top threads about Incognito and the rest seems to be about what Tepper will or won’t change. As big as the Tepper change is, the threads are all 100% conjecture. Can we get some OTA news? Did Hunter Henry blow out his other ACL yet? Just something aside from Incognito and Tepper conjecture.

So...

Quote

Police in Boca Raton, Florida, say they responded to a 911 call at the gym to find Incognito claiming he was involved with National Security Agency, and saying that the government is tracking him.

Officers said Incognito told them he couldn’t give them details because they didn’t have the proper security clearance.

Any questions?

it seems the poor guy is battling psychosis. I hope he gets the help he needs. 11 years in the NFL should net you a good chunk of change. I have a feeling the GM's of the league will do the right thing and not offer him a contract. Its time to Go onto Greener pastures.

Am I the only guy who remembers some people in this forum promoting the "sign Incognito" view a couple of weeks ago?

Nope. Not the only one. There weren't a lot of them, but there were some and probably a few of them would still take him.

That's the part that gets me.

A player like him could come in the locker room and destroy it all, pitting player against player, alienating a player or players. He’s a bully, but he needs some help too.

Great comment.

Some NFL teams are like a woman who starts dating a bad boy (aka, turd) because she sees the good in him and thinks she can change him.  I am not judging women, but I am pointing out the risk vs. reward component and how rarely it works out favorably.  (we used to volunteer at the Domestic Violence Shelter/Safe Reliance.  It got real frustrating seeing what these turds did to families.  Incognito is a turd.  You don't make fancy clay vases out of poo, you need quality clay. They may look the same, feel the same, and mold the same, but you put them in the kiln, the poo pot crumbles.  Metaphors are my friend.:poo::)

Character matters.
