i.e., the annoying horns at soccer games in Africa.

I first noticed these abominations during the ConFed Cup this summer. Incredibly annoying, to the point where i could hardly stand watching the game.

So, i was trying to watch the U-17 WC match between US and Spain the other day. Its being held in Nigeria. Not nearly as many horns in the crowd, and i never actually saw one, but the few that were there made me turn the channel. I just cant stomach it. There had been some talk of banning them for the World Cup next summer, but im betting that doesnt happen.

If it doesnt, im going to have a hard hard time watching many of the matches.
I swear i bet it affects ratings...

yeah, imagine trying to play. these should be banned. Stick to the drums and songs

Hmmm, the game of soccer always makes me change the channel. Never heard the horns.

i keep expecting a giant mosquito to land in the middle of the pitch..i agree. ANNOYING
