If I knew that meat was grown this way I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Then you need to make friends with someone that does it this way.....or meet me. ;)

I do this stuff to survive, and make ends meet, and because I flat out enjoy it...but also to preserve a part of my heritage.

I'm not giving up fish, and I'm going to wait to give up chicken. For now, I have eaten my last tortured cow or pig.

Would love to take the brave meat eaters on the Huddle on a field trip to the slaughterhouse and then see how many order a burger afterward.

no problem with it at all.

Hell last month i was at my buddies house where we cut a pig up and threw his ass on the grill why we made sausage from the rest.

awesome eating....

I'm with Electro on this....I am fully aware that animals are born and bred for eating! Watching them get slaughtered wouldn't phase me at all. Been there, done that

What is cool about America is you are free to make choices. I spent 20 years in the Air Force defending this country so people have the freedom to do so.

If meat doesn't want to eat cow or pig that is his business. I know I gave him a hard time early on in the thread but respect his decision.

That being said, bring on the hamburgers!:D

Hey, I used to sell packaging adhesive to the poultry and meat industry. Walked many a facility in my day. Yet, here I sit dreaming about a big juicy steak or some beer can chicken. Deeeeeeeeeeeelish.

I stopped eating red meat regularly awhile ago, though I eat pork rarely. Beef is never even an option and the idea of eating a lamb makes me feel weird, it's a freaking lamb.

I eat fish and chicken though. You don't really need any meat to get protein, not if you know what amaranth is.

If you can kill it, you can grill it. And if you can grill it, you can eat it.
