Adventurous CLT Eaters: Any good Taco stands in town?

They had a Monterrey chef come by a few months ago and they've added a few more things to the menu. I usually stick with the Pollo Loredo, shrimp tacos, or the tradicional enchiladas.

I'm like you, but the fiance loves it.

Their Guacomole owns my face. I'm a big fan of the shrimp tacos as well (Tacos Marco Polo I think). They did recently flesh out their lunch special menu with a bunch of new things that I've liked thus far. A bit more of the seafood items seems to be the slant, which I'm definitely in favor of.

La Poblanita, in Plaza Fiesta market near Carowinds. The real deal. They also have Peruvian, Ecuadorian, and Columbian restaurants.

I've grown to really like La Unica. There's a great one on South Blvd. and a good one at I-85 and Brookshire.

El Magoowee in Fort Mill. It's in that same complex as Hoopers. On Friday nights they have this "great" kraoke guy. His name is like Johnny Fantastic or some BS. Some funny stuff if you're ever down Tega Cay way.
