Hey John Fox I'm chewing my gum and clapping but the play calling doesn't get any better.

This first and goal was a microcosm of the entire game and the mismanagement of the roster as a whole.

....See Jake stare down Moose and miss a completely open Jeff King down the middle? Seems like Fox and Davidson don't understand that when Jake plays bad, he stays bad the WHOLE game.

3 pass plays.....

2nd drive we have 3rd and 1 and jake overthrows a deep pass.....

now we're down 14 to 3 and can expect a heavy dose of jake throwing the ball in the second half.

POOR FRICKING PLAY CALLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we are a power running team, and having success running against the dolphins and we're throwing the ball?????????????

WTF!

Smitty Had that guy burned on that 4th and 1. It was a good risky call. If only we had a halfway decent QB that would have been a sure touchdown.

Wow. Just wow. Some of you folks should be ashame of calling yourself a Panthers fan with wanting Jake to get hurt. I know you want him out & a new QB, but that is disgusting & way out of line to want him to get hurt. Don't ever call yourself a Panthers fan or even a fan with wanting someone to get hurt. That no different than me wanting someone to kill you. It's only a frickin' game!! And the worst QB in the league? Guess you haven't look at JaMarcus Russell or Brady Quinn, huh? Jake isn't perfect, but he sure as hell better than those guys. :rolleyes5:

While he deserve some blame, but it not all on him with the poor playcalling by Fox & Davidson. I think the loss of Gross didn't help protect him enough either.

it wasn't "some" of us folks.... it was one guy calling for him to get hurt.

and delhomme isn't better than quinn. he just has more experience with a better team. quinn given the opportunity jake as had would be a far superior QB than jake is.

yes. its not so much a bad play call, but a bad play call with jake as your QB. a better call with jake as QB would be to run stewart on 3rd and 1 and try a pass like that on 2nd. but with jake, its a bad pass play because it ends a drive.

now, with a better QB that could have hit the pass, it would have been a great play. but this leads to the whole point..... with Jake as our QB, why the hell were we throwing so much early when the score was close? poor play calling!

Because you have to take risks. Jake made some good throws. Like the smith td. We gave stewart the ball third and one and got hit back.

Fox and Davidson know for us to be successful we need a balance of pass and run. Tonight they gave Jake the freedom to throw hoping for the best. Jake just doesn't have it. Fox PLEASE try someone else, if it doesn't work then you at least tried.

Yeah, but I wouldn't be surprise if there are some here who say the same, but not typing it's here.

Sorry, but Quinn is a bust in the making & will never be better than Jake. Even many Huddlers here said he is a bust even before the Browns finally selected him in the Draft. Why did many teams pass on him? Maybe because they're concern he will suck. I smell a David Carr V.2. Again, it fine if many of you guys want Jake gone & all, but don't make up excuse & denial with saying some crappier QBs like Russell & Quinn are better than him. Until that happend, Jake is better than 2.
