and here I thought it was a TV.........would have been perfect for the garage.

I have the earlier version of this as my computer monitor and it's fantastic.

JR, it will work if you have a cable or satellite box feeding it. The specs says it has a composite video input, but if you want HD then you will need an HDMI to DVI adapter cable. Definately cheaper than buying an actual TV -a Samsung 22" 720p is $280...
