It took me a month to convince them that even though they are really "tough and strong" they may need additional help in case they run into a ninja, pirate, or sith

If you have not gotten any yet, go to Lawmens or Arringtons. They are both on Clanton rd at 77, both are police supply stores. They will have every kind of OC imaginable. And yes, they sell to the public.

Just look up the local police equipment supply store. There's a great one in Raleigh..can't remember the name but it's off of Tryon Rd. You're probably in Charlotte, but I imagine there's a place there. Just ask a cop where they'd go to buy equipment.
