NBC needs to shuffle thier marketing/programming peeps. They are really missing the ball on what's going on.

No one can beat Craig Ferguson

I want to beat the poo out of him. Gawd he sucks

This is setting up perfectly for Conan to take over for Letterman.

Eh, can't really see it....I know he's a standup and everything but he looked awful uncomfortable improv'ing on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

like many things I was a fan of old Conan(first time with andy, sucks getting old). game has changed, TV is just different. 600 channels, interwebz, and DVR makes a whole new era. Unless your CSI, NFL, american idol all ratings are down across the board. I feel Jerry would take awhile before he got comfy. If you like train wreaks, watch Jimmy Fallon. Holy monkey balls does that show suck.

Today, they'd even can Johnny Carson...who Conan resembles moreso than any of the more recent late night hosts. I wonder if NBC execs remember when Leno took over, Letterman dominated the first year or so until Leno found his audience (which in turn are obviously tuning out on Conan...because he's not the safe, ho-hum comedian that Jay is). But nah, that's too much work for them. Besides Conan, the only thing left on NBC is Chuck...barely.

Meh, never was that impressed with Conan. Thought he was perfect for the 12:30 to 1:30 hour. He ruins his jokes.

Does anyone else not think that NBC basically screwed Conan by moving the Jay Leno Show to an hour ahead of him? He was given the Tonight Show in name only. All they did was move the timeslots up.

Think about if when Leno was given the show, Carson came back and was like Hey I'm on at 10! Nobody would have ever watched Leno.

Same thing applies here. It's bullshit.

Conan is hilarious and he'll easily find work somewhere else. Seinfeld is awful.

It's not even that. Have you seen Leno's ratings? They're horrible. People are tuning out on his show and aren't turning back to the Tonight Show. He's taking down not only his show, but Conan's...and NBC is in a shitload of trouble.

    • This makes sense to a degree with one big BUT... It's clear we'll be changing up our offense quite a bit this season - both due to the need for "evolution" and because of all the new players on offense we have to integrate - especially CMC & Samuel.  So, Stew needs more reps than he would have needed last year just to get in a rhythm with the new guys... Otherwise what you write makes sense.
    • Already admitted i was wrong saying that, what I meant to write was he never learned to do it in college and makes it much easier to fall back into old habits in the pros. Was going back and edit that before I posted the thread and just forgot. And yes, every QB is going to be inaccurate at times, Cam is more inaccurate than the other top ten QBs, He just is, that's not his game,  didn't see anyone complaining about in 15. He makes up for it in other ways. And, no offense meant, didn't see a whole lot of Cam blaming in your post, actually, didn't see any. It was all someone else's fault. Cam has more difficult throws than many QBs because he frequently passes up easy throws for more difficult ones.
