I like MKG, we just have to understand what he is. And that's a defensive stopper and rebounder. He can be a solid starter on a championship level team, but it has to be in a situation like Dennis Rodman was in with Chicago. He has to be surrounded with dynamic scorers that can compensate for his lack of scoring so he can focus on his defense and getting key rebounds. Otherwise, his best fit is probably coming off the bench.
The problem on this team is that we don't have the scoring threats to offset his deficiencies. Even though Kemba is a good scorer, he's not a guy that can easily put up points in bunches. He's probably a natural 15-18 point guy, not the 25-30 point guy MKG needs.
