This offense doesn't try to fool you. They line up and smash you...and it's been working. No reason to change.
If we dont try to fool anyone then why do we still see the 'wild hog' every once in a while?

in a two back set someone is likely needed to block, and thats what Hoov does.
They run the ball from a single back formation a good bit, so i see no reason they can't have both of them in the game at the same time.

That is basically the most "smash it down their throat" play out there. The only reason they put a few wrinkles in the play every little bit is so that defenses scare themselves. But Deangelo taking the snap is basically declaring we will run it right at you.

IMO we should set them up in a split back formation and have them both run out to the perimeter on each side. We could fake a pitch to one and throw a screen to the other.
Something like that...works in Madden

Yeah...I have thought about this a bit.

I know it was college but last year WVU ran formation out of the backfield with Slaton/Devine it worked pretty well.

Question. That's a lot of money to be tied up in the backfield. When is Deangelos contract and Stewarts up?
You're not gettin either one of them
