For those of you who hate our stadium announcer...

Then in the concourse during the game, all they have is him. So you'd hear "Brees sacked by number 90" nothing else then "Completion to Colston" nothing else. Dead quiet. This was in the club but even in the lower concourse, besides the fan noise he said nothing else.
At least in our concourses in both the clubs and both levels, you hear the radio guys so you know what's going on in the game.

He was doing good for a 90 year old.
Bob Shepard? He is healthy now? I know he wasn't well enough to attend the last game at Yankee Stadium. Good to hear this if so.
People refer to his voice as 'the voice of God'.

Now, Mick Mixon for the road games, that is annoying. It's not a college game, moron! We are all pretty set on the rules of the NFL. I know you are new to it, but we are not.

reminded me of bob hope during his last tv shows. Someone needs to put him out of his misery.

I had to listen to the rams playoff game on the radio, it was one of my defining moments as a panther fan

As for Mixon... I never listen to him during the games, so I don't really have a comment. But I can't stand to look at the guy. Reminds me of a Chihuahua.

His voice sounded annoying as hell on TV, but I kind of discounted it because ambient sound doesn't always translate perfectly and I thought there might be some modulation going on. Guess it's as bad as it sounded.
I don't know how it sounded on TV but it sounded very bad there.
AND their commercials weren't any better than ours. They have the Winn-Dixie VIP card instead of the HT VIC card.
The kiss cam is cute, though.
And they didn't do that annoying fan code of conduct thing using kiddies.

Hated to see Rosinski go. His "yes, there is a superbowl, and the Panthers are in it" will always be etched in my mind.

Mixon isn't the guy who is the stadium announcer though. In the concourse, they play the radio guys - Mixon and Robinson so you know what's going on if you're in the restroom or in line for a drink while watching on the tv.
There's a different guy as the stadium announcer. Some people complain about him during the game. But he at least has some emotion. Their guy had none. And he was all you heard out in the concourses, so all you got was the result of the play.

Isn't it John Robinson? Use to be on WBTV then went to Fox Sports? He's been doing it from the begining.
