I know that some of you have blinders on for the Huddle league, but for those who care to know, I achieved my goal. It was hard work, but out of two leagues I only had three total losses (one being the week that Favre broke my heart with 6 Tds). I was 15-1 in the NFL fantasy league, and 15-2 in the Yahoo league. The Steel Cats in the Yahoo league finished off a 13 game winning streak by edging out my greatest rival who had Romo, Witten and Tashard Choice on his roster. It was a little lucky on my part, but me being without Chris Johnson and Dallas Clark helped his cause also. Ultimately, like I told my defeated, Cowboy loving brother-in-law, I was the best manager with the best team, and it would have been a travesty if he slipped in and ruined the story because of the potluck weekend that is week 17.

The funny thing is that I traded Deangelo Williams to him early on in the season, and this was almost my undoing in the championship, but the Steel Cats were not to be denied. Moreover, my brother-in-law told me that I'd be sorry for trading away Peyton Manning and acquiring Jay Cutler during the middle of the season, but it was Jay Cutler that landed me the trophy. It feels great to have beaten (and plagued with a deluge of smack) self-proclaimed fantasy football geniuses with their trophies in only my their season. I would more than likely be three for three, hadn't Brian Westbrook pulled up and went out of bounds before he scored last year in week 15.

I don't gamble anything more than a 12-pack or a meal, but I'd be happy to join your league for next year if it's free. I play fantasy football for the love of the game, the challenge, and most importantly the strategy. Save a spot for me in the Huddle league next year, and the Steel Cats will challenge your fantasy football knowledge and strategy to the max.

Pasted stats for my respective championship games (if you can make sense of them).
