Dang - you would think Philadelphia fans would have snapped them up if there were any left.

Wow! I was thinking the same thing the other day when it was 20,000 tickets. Gonna be a home crowd for Philly.

Yeah I read that on FoxSports this morning as well....I could not believe a city would not support their team in the playoffs....Arizona is having trouble too. :confused:

Per ProFootballTalk.com;

"The Vikings have until 4:30 p.m. EST on Friday, January 2 to move the remaining 11,000 seats. Only 9,000 tickets have been sold since Monday morning.

The Cardinals must sell 5,600 tickets by 4:30 p.m. EST on Thursday, January 1.

The Cards host the Falcons on Saturday, and the Vikings host the Eagles on Sunday."

Almost sounds like Ari and Minn fans think their team will lose.

Cardinals got another extention per PFT:

'With the deadline for selling out their home stadium already moved from 72 hours to 48 hours and with a lot of tickets still left when the 48-hour deadline came, the Arizona Cardinals have received an unusual second extension.

The Cardinals now have until 24 hours prior to the Saturday kickoff of their game against the Falcons to move enough tickets to allow the wild-card contest to be televised in the Phoenix area.

As of 4:30 p.m. EST on Thursday, 3,700 tickets still remained.

“Based on the activity we’ve seen over the last couple days and particularly in the last 24 hours we’re very optimistic that this extension will get us where we need to be,” said Cardinals executive vice president/COO Ron Minegar (which might or might not rhyme with “vinegar”).

Meanwhile, a store named “Leslie’s Pool Supplies” has assisted the cause by purchasing a “large block” of tickets, and offering fans who buy $100 or more in pool supplies two free tickets to the game.

We didn’t make that last part up.

We swear.'

How pathetic....you should have to forfeit your spot in the playoffs if you can't sell out your home game.

I can understand Arizona more than Minnesota. Minnesota is football country.....what the hell else are they going to do on those cold winter days.

    • Welcome to the world of news media.  Just because you are still butt hurt that Hillary's campaign and the DNC had their own emails used against them doesn't change the fact that what was reveal was indeed factual and those who wrote the emails do not deny that they authored them. Time for you and the DNC to move on.  The email did not cause the dems to lose over a thousand elected seats in government during the last three election cycles and fixating upon them only delays the needed changes withing the party to win the votes of the American electorate. I'm not being snarky here either.  There are now only 18 months to the next elections and the dems are still stuck on Russia, Russia, Russia.  That won't win them any more voters in a tough series of Senate races primarily in red states. Time for the party to do a thorough autopsy on these last few elections and make the necessary changes otherwise our nation is looking at 8 years of Trump with a republican majority in both houses free to do as the please.
