Anyone geeked for this game today? I can't stand the Wings and no fan of the Hawks, but I'm still anxiously awaiting the drop of the puck. These outdoor games are awesome.....hopefully my team will get in one soon.

Some talk of a Penguins-Flyers game @ Penn State (100K) and also Rangers-Flyers @ Yankee Stadium.

I'd love to be at Wrigley today...atmosphere looks great!

I'm a casual hockey fan and I think this a superbly smart idea.
Looks great on the big HD screen.
Smart to do it on New Years day when guys are at home in sports watching mode.
Yankee Stadium, Penn St. Maybe the Big House in Ann Arbor or Lambeau. Awesome stuff.

Bruins vs. Capitals at Fenway Park. You get to put Ovechkin on a national stage in one of the best cathedrals in sports.

Doubt that will happen....no rivalry there. If they want to feature Ovechkin they're going to have to find a good rivalry. Maybe the Canes or the Flyers.
